I'm used to hunting with 30.06 but this rifle is a 308WIN. The Carbon is superlight and the boltaction is better than previous X-Bolt models. Less recoil than a 30.06 and with the Stalon Victor moderator makes it even better, very quiet and can't feel any recoil at all with moderator on. Nice to hunt without ear protection.
